Community building in Tunisia

Inspiring a new and changing world

I’m Mayssa Chalbi, Tunisian, I’m 20 years old, and I’m presently studying Business English in Higher Institute of Applied Studies in Humanities of Tunis, And Spanish in higher institute of modern languages “Bourguiba School”.

I ratify that one person can make a difference, and everyone should try. I want to be such a person. I want to make a difference because I believe that we are equal no matter what our religion is, how old we are, and in what social class we’re living. And I think we should never waste the chances that travel offers to make a change. I want to see all the beautiful continents and experience something different; at the same time, I want to be effective for the place I’m going to.

It’s an honor for me to be a community builder in T2C that makes me feel responsible; it also gives me a huge energy that should be explored to create change through travel and pushes me to share my passion for all educational stuff with “passionate” travelers who want to create a new way to achieve our targets which is: breaking traditional rules and boring protocols that are preventing us to smell change’s odor and to inspire a new changing world.

As a community builder, I had been evolved in several discussions and debates about traveling and discovering new cultures and religions where I tried to raise awareness and define what it means to me and to the others to travel. Indeed people wonder why should I go away or travel and I would say to them that traveling is living a new life seeing the world with a new vision, traveling is about seeing the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors and seeing people in a different way and at the end of the road you will come back to where you started not in the same way as you left.

What I want to do with my team is to work on our visions and give other dreamers the spirit of discovering and believing in themselves.
