Onomea Country Market is a place where local farmers are able to bring their crops to a community space, engaging knowledge sharing and a farm to table experience. Farm Trails products are available for purchase inside the market. Currently, fresh veggies fill the market and a “Wall of Chocolate” is being installed to display local cacao products. A tunnel of cacao plant leads the way to the “Wall of Chocolate.” The mamaki garden behind the market will also act as a butterfly sanctuary for visitors. The local products and butterfly species will offer opportunities for cultural education while benefiting local businesses.
